Bookdrops
The inside bookdrop is accessible during open hours. An outside bookdrop is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on the outer east wall of the building. All Library materials (books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs) may be returned to the outdoor bookdrop. Please return Link+ material to staff inside.
Donations to the Library or Friends of the Manteca Library are accepted during open hours and should not be placed in the outdoor bookdrop.
Donations
Donations are accepted any time the Library is open. We gratefully accept gently used, resaleable items less than 5 years old; including hardcover and paperback books, videos, DVDs, audiobooks, and recent magazines. We do not accept magazines older than two years, textbooks of any kind, encyclopedias, obsolete computer books, Reader's Digest Condensed Books, or items in poor condition. Donated materials might be added to the Library collection or sold in the Friends of the Manteca Library booksale, funds from which are used to support Manteca Library. Please keep donations to no more than 2 bags or boxes.
Friends of the Manteca Library is a group of local volunteers which supports the Manteca Branch Library by providing funds to purchase materials and for programs.
