Research

The Library offers many ways to do research, both at home and in the library.

Databases

Databases provide access to research materials from academic journals, newspapers, and magazines. You will need to enter your library card number to use the databases from outside the Library.  A few of our databases are only available for use from inside the Library; these contain the note "In Library" in the description.

Genealogy

The Library offers Genealogy resources and Ancestry Library Edition (which only works when you are IN the library).

Volunteers from the San Joaquin Genealogical Society are available to help with your family history questions.
